The commute in one paragraph

Domino's World HQ sits on Frank Lloyd Wright Dr at Domino's Farms, north of the Huron River, just west of US-23. It is not in downtown Ann Arbor and it is not on the medical campus. The drive is cleaner than either. Plymouth Rd is your main approach from the city, US-23 from farther out. Twenty minutes gets you there from almost anywhere in the Ann Arbor metro.

Who works at Domino's Farms

Corporate Domino's staff: IT, marketing, HR, finance, legal, ops. Weekday 8-to-5 pattern mostly, with hybrid flexibility.

Tech and product teams with more remote flexibility. In-office days cluster Tuesday through Thursday.

The Domino's Farms complex also houses medical offices, IHA practices, and other tenants. Traffic patterns reflect that mix.

Food-service and facilities staff work earlier and later shifts and face lighter traffic on both ends.

Approach routes and traffic windows

From the city, take Plymouth Rd east. It runs straight to Frank Lloyd Wright Dr at the US-23 interchange. Fifteen to twenty minutes from downtown Ann Arbor at 8 AM.

From the north, take US-23 south to Exit 41 (Plymouth Rd). Two minutes to the Domino's Farms entrance.

From the east, take US-23 south from Brighton or South Lyon to Exit 41.

From the south and southwest, either take US-23 north to Exit 41, or cut across on Geddes to Huron Pkwy to Plymouth Rd.

From the west (Dexter, Chelsea), take M-14 east to US-23 north to Exit 41. Thirty to thirty-five minutes.

Morning peak on Plymouth Rd is 7:45 AM to 8:30 AM. Evening peak is 4:45 PM to 5:30 PM. The peak is lighter than the medical campus or downtown.

Parking and the last quarter mile

Domino's Farms has a massive surface lot. Parking is never a problem.

Frank Lloyd Wright Dr is the one road in and out. Traffic lights at Plymouth Rd set the tempo.

The campus feels suburban because it is. Expect a drive to lunch unless you pack.

The Gallup Park trail system is a short drive south and is popular with Domino's employees at lunch.

What breaks this commute

US-23 corridor construction shows up every few summers between M-14 and Exit 41. Delays of ten to fifteen minutes when that work is active.

Football Saturdays do not directly affect Plymouth Rd or Domino's Farms, but traffic on nearby surface streets can spill over as drivers route around closures.

Winter snow on Plymouth Rd gets cleared fast because it is a major arterial, but the side streets in Glacier Highlands can stay slippery.

Morning fog along the Huron River bottomland near the river crossing on Plymouth Rd is real and can add five minutes in the fall.

Move-in week at UM affects Plymouth-Fuller intersections in late August.
